RightLine Check showing a claim with no issues found

It's rarely the adjustment.

One small miss on a claim can mean a denial or a clawback. These are the misses RightLine Check looks for before the claim goes out.

Check the visit.
Fix it. Then bill.

Enter the visit

Type the codes and paste the SOAP note, right next to the EHR you already use.

See what to fix

Each flag comes with a plain-English fix, and must-fix problems come first.

Fix it, then check again

If a doctor needs to override a flag, they sign off with their PIN and a reason. Every sign-off is recorded in your office's audit log.

Rules from published plan policies

Built around the rules
your claims are judged by.

Medicare Part B

National rules in every state, plus contractor edits and policies for Novitas, WPS, CGS and Palmetto GBA

Medicare Advantage

General coding and note checks. Medicare's national and local coverage rules apply to these plans too; confirm each plan's own rules with the plan

Named Blue Cross Blue Shield plans

Horizon BCBS NJ and Highmark public policies, Anthem's filing deadlines, general rules for other Blue plans

Aetna

Rules from Aetna's public chiropractic policy and claim pages, plus general checks. Rules behind Aetna's provider login aren't checked.

Other commercial plans

General coding and documentation rules

Medicaid

Fee-for-service rules in six states plus TennCare, general checks for other managed care plans

Benefit managers

Two ASH review checks when ASH manages a commercial plan. For other managers, a reminder that their own rules aren't checked.

Self-pay

Note and coding checks

80+ billing and documentation checks

Each one comes with a plain-English fix. Medicare and contractor rules link to the public source they come from.

Copied-note check

Compares the S and O sections with the last visit's note and shows the percent match.

ICD-10-CM validity

Checks diagnosis codes against the FY2024 to FY2027 code sets.

DC sign-off with a PIN

Overrides need a doctor's 6-digit PIN and a reason, recorded in your office's audit log.

Fixes ranked by severity

Must-fix problems come first, then DC sign-offs, then items to review.

Honest results

It never shows green when a check didn't run.

Roles for the whole office

Admin, doctor (DC) and staff (front desk or billing) logins.

Works where you work

In the browser on desktop, iPad and phone.

Your note text
stays on your device.

RightLine Check runs the check in your browser. We don't receive your note text.

No ads, analytics or trackers inside RightLine Check.

What we do keep

  • Account names, roles and credentials.
  • Sign-offs and acknowledgements: the visit ID, tag, rule, claim line number, reason code, who and when, in the audit log.
  • Short feedback, only when you choose to send it.

Under the hood

Built with security in mind.

Checks run on your device. Your visit notes and the claim form are never sent to our servers.

The rules run in your browser

The rules and the ICD-10-CM code tables load onto your computer, tablet or phone, and the check runs there. Our server has no address that accepts a visit.

Encrypted connections, and files encrypted by our host

Connections use HTTPS, and plain http is sent to HTTPS. Vercel, our host, states that it encrypts the files our server keeps with AES-256.

Sign-offs need the doctor's PIN

Each sign-off needs that doctor's own 6-digit PIN and a reason, and the audit log records who, what and when. Five wrong PINs lock the PIN for 15 minutes.

Roles checked on our server

Admin, doctor and staff roles are enforced on our server, not just hidden on screen. Each person signs in with their own link, and we store only a hash of it.

130 checks, 97 published sources

The checks draw on CMS manuals, Medicare contractor articles, the official ICD-10-CM files and payer policies, across 29 payer profiles. Each flag names its source and links to it, or says when a check is RightLine's own default.

Thousands of automated checks across 40 test suites

They cover the rules, every payer pack, ICD-10-CM codes, copied-note matching and the on-device privacy design.

Built by a chiropractor,
for chiropractors.

A licensed New Jersey chiropractor co-founded RightLine and helped write its checks. Medicare and contractor rules cite the public source they're based on.

FAQ

Does it work with my EHR?

It works next to any EHR. You type the codes and paste the note, so there's nothing to install or connect.

Can I use it on real patient visits?

No. RightLine doesn't accept real patient information. Any change would need a separate agreement we both sign.

Is this legal, billing or coding advice?

No. RightLine Check flags likely problems based on public payer rules. It isn't legal, billing, coding or medical advice, and it isn't a guarantee of payment.

Which payers does it cover?

Medicare Part B in every state, plus contractor edits and policies for Novitas, WPS, CGS and Palmetto GBA. Medicare Advantage gets general coding and note checks; those plans must also follow Medicare's national coverage determinations and the local coverage decisions for their area (42 CFR 422.101(b)), and each plan's own rules aren't checked. Horizon BCBS NJ and Highmark add their public policies, Anthem adds its filing deadlines, and Aetna adds rules from its public chiropractic policy and claim pages (not the rules behind its provider login). Other commercial and Blue plans get general coding and documentation checks. Medicaid fee-for-service rules run in Michigan, North Carolina, Indiana, Massachusetts, Kentucky and Oregon, and TennCare rules (from one TennCare plan's guideline, as warnings) run in Tennessee; other managed care plans get general checks. When ASH manages a commercial plan, two ASH review checks run; for other benefit managers, a reminder says their own rules aren't checked. Self-pay visits get note and coding checks.

How does setup work?

After checkout, we set up your office and send each person their own sign-in link within 2 business days. Then we walk your team through it on a short call.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, from your billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If it isn't right for you, ask for a full refund within 30 days of your first payment.

Who needs a login?

Each doctor (DC) gets their own login, so sign-offs carry their name. Front-desk and billing staff use a staff seat.

Where is it available?

For practices in the US.
